Vasuda is a social worker and former CSR leader. Prior to founding Jwalamukhi, she headed Tech Mahindra Foundation's Bangalore chapter. She has also been closely associated with HCL-Perot Foundation – India.
Vasuda's focus areas are children's education, empowerment of the girl child, and communal harmony. A freelance writer, her witty articles recounting experiences from her childhood have been a regular in local magazines. Vasuda holds a Masters in Mathematics from Nirmala College, Coimbatore.
Lalitha is a civic leader and active advocate for change in Bangalore city. Prior to Jwalamukhi, Lalitha worked in marketing for 15+ years, with organizations such as the Times of India Group, Sasi Advertising and the Business India Group.
Over the last decade, Lalitha had led various grassroots-level civic and social initiatives in Bangalore. She has played an instrumental role in raising awareness about waste management and garbage segregation in the city.
Lalitha is a Trustee of CiFOS (Citizens for Sustainability), an award-winning organization that works towards improving sustainable mobility. She is also a member of the Judicial Officers Layout Welfare Association. Lalitha holds a post graduate degree in Mass Communication.
After a decade of working in the corporate world across North America, Europe and Asia, Charanya chose to follow her passion of working in the education sector in India. Charanya was previously the head of operations and partnerships at N/Core, The/Nudge Foundation. Prior to that she served as the Global Business Manager at Wipro USA, building and managing hi-tech business for strategic clients. She has extensive experience managing large project and program portfolios at IBM, Bank of America – NA, Belk and Rewards Network.
Charanya holds an MBA from INSEAD and MS in Computer Science from University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
Vikram comes with a varied experience of consulting, story research, performance/classical storytelling, and theatre practice. He believes in oral storytelling as a strong medium for conservation, which is highly relevant in the modern context. He combines his 15 years of work and interest in theatre and conservation in his storytelling. He is the co-founder of ‘Tahatto’, a Bangalore-based theatre entity and ‘Around The Story Tree’ is his initiative to connect the modern-day listener to the environment around through the power of stories through arts. His work with children has taken him across the country sharing stories with lakhs of kids from Baroda to Itanagar, Chandigarh to Cochin. Prior to venturing into the children’s world, Vikram worked with IBM and SAP in the areas of consulting and marketing.
Vikram earned his engineering degree from SRM Engineering College, Chennai and his Business Management degree from IIT, Madras.
